Any of you guys that know Charlie personally know if he's on vacation? Left several messages over the past week along with an e-mail and I cannot get a response. Just got my tt3000 along with my long tubes and my tranny wont shift 2-3 at WOT. It also hunts for 2-3 or 3-2 at 1/2 throttle. NEEDS a tune, just cant get in touch with Wheatley for an update. I know hes a busy guy cause hes a great tuner but I'm about to have to call Allen and buy another PCM if he wont return my calls. That, or save and get my own software.

 

ummm...i dont think a good converter will make a tranny stop shifting????

 

It will if its not tuned right, something about the MPH versus RPM tables. Wheatley himself told me I would need a tune after the verter swap. And it still shifts at 90% throttle just not WOT. Also shifted fine before the converter and its a fresh tranny done buy a reputable builder.

I got your PM and a retune will go out monday.
The best thing to do with a mod like a tq converter or cam swap,is get a retune before hand.(Hat way when the swap is done you can swap the new pcm in
