I have a 2001 GMC Sierra 1500 2wd with a 4.10 posi rear, Longtubes w/Hi-flow Cats & Cutout, and a K&N Intake. I was wondering who offered the better tune, Wheatley or Nelson Performance? Thanks

 

I had Wheatley tune mine and I love it.

 

Both are good but i have personally had nelson tune my 08 and it's incredible that i am waiting to get my 01 out of the body shop to take to him.

 

What's the tune place that sends you a data logger?

Nelson always tuned mine was very happy with it, then i started tuning on my own, but with my new setup i just ordered a retune after 2 years of doing it myself and it should be here monday at nothing but shipping costs to me.

 

Wheatley, did mine for my NX system, love it, getting a update is as easy as slapping a UPS label on it.

 

FWIW, I called Charley Wheatley 2 years ago, and still have not gott'en a call back! Since then i've gone from stock, to headers and cam, to 4l80'd & blown with about four retunes for free out'ta Nelson. Not bashin' just a fyi.

 

iv always had great response time with charlie over the past 2 years, good guy to work with

 

Nelson has tuned both my trucks with his eyes closed...goodluck with your choice
