I am wanting to run some type of valet mode and lean cruise. I might be adding N2O in the future and seems like they are working on something good for that. Is this all stuff that I could do myself with personal? Do you know if I could upgrade later? Can I use a wideband along with Auto tune with both?

I see that I can upgrade later so I will go with the personal to start me off.

2. yes!!
3. and I believe so!!
Auto VE tuning is cool but you might want to learn the VE process yourself. It makes thing much easier when you understand the changes vs. having something or someone do it for you

Actually man, he can't use the lean cruise table or valet/nitrous mode as is. To do this, you need to use Custom OS 3 or 5 with the Command AFR per MAP/RPM (instead of MAP/ECT). You can't do that OS upgrade with the personal version.

That's what I thought. Do you think I should just start out with the personal version then upgrade later? Or is it easier to just get commercial right away? I have no experience with tuning so it will take me a while to figure things out and I also won't have money for any other mods for a while.

Considering that there is no cost benefit to purchasing the commercial version sooner than later (it is $150 to upgrade from personal), I would suggest starting out with personal to get used to the software and learn your way around. There are a lot of tables to understand, and until you have an idea of how they impact each other and your AFR and power produced, it would be better to stick to the basics before moving onto the custom OS options.

That's just my .02
