Default At What Point Is a Tune Needed?

I have a NNBS and was looking into getting the S&B CAI S&B Filters, Chevrolet/GMC, Silverado, Sierra, 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L, 07-08, Dry

I dont think a tune is needed for just this mod alone, but at what point IS one needed?

A tune is not NEEDED, but you would definitely benefit from one. Once you get more airflow than the stock fuel trims can handle is when a tune is NEEDED. A stock truck will benefit from a tune but, it is best to do your mods and then get it tuned to maximize your performance.

I agree with the above. The factory tune is pig rich and timing is very conservative. I've seen some trucks pic up 30-40 hp just by tweaking their factory tune.

Not to mention, removing some shift delay can just about double the life of the trans clutches...

NE Oklahoma ... I dont think Tulsa has any reputable tuners. OKC is 3.5hrs away and DFW is 4.5hrs away.
