its supposed to be the 93tune..
LOL, sorry just had to. Seems a lot of people complain about the trans shifts with his tune. You would think he would have that fixed in his tunes by now.
My Nelson tune was right on specs the first time. That was with 70% of TM removed. I did no shift kit or vette servo, and mine still shifted hard through 1-2 & 2-3 gears.
If the tune is right, then there really should be no need of the addition of the vette servo or shift kit to make it shift hard and crisp.
I will only be adding the servo to just get a cleaner, quicker, firmer shift.
All TM is now removed in my tune.
I'm not too sure if I will be adding the servo now.
Good luck, and sorry to hear of the problems. There is just too many people with the wait4me tune that has that problem from the first and even second mail order tune from them.
It's a cheap deal, so I guess you get what you pay for. Do they charge you for the shipping when there tune is messed up from them???
I sure would hope not.

Yea i just want to get the servo for now, just to help it last a few more miles.. and i tow a nice size trailer with 4wheelers, so i would hope it would make it more crisp and just to say i have it? haha. and when it does go out on me, i want to have all the usual rebuild parts on hand, because i know a guy that will gut it and put these parts in it for bout $100-150ish, and he builds auto and manual trans for a living.

and im not goin to get all these horrific HIGH HP outputs like most of yall, haha jk.

Just the main bolt ons, Headers, exhuast, Tune (if we ever get it worked out), Dry Nitrous(just for kicks), just enough to get to a low 14 maybe. because i tow a good bit with it..

But thanks guys for the info.. im goin to start ordering parts next week.
thanks for the links Hog!!
post up anymore if you find them..

Well, with a $500 tune being the other alternative I would say the smart move is to buy EFIlive or HPT and learn to do it yourself!

The shipping is only about $15 round trip, not to much to complain about there....

Don't forget the laptop and the OBDII cable that is needed! Then comes the knowing how do your own changes. Takes a lot of experience and knowledge not to make the wrong mistake.

servo's wont do anything... same thing happened to me and untimatly blew my tranny (but i was under warrenty from my last rebuild so it never cost me anything)...

it was slipping so much inbetween shifts, it would lag into 2nd so bad that it would over rev sometimes... have you talked to him? send it back? he got mine right eventually.. just took a few times. I'm not sure what he does or doesnt do to make it shift like this, but it seems to be a common problem. As far as how the truck ran, it was great... idle and first gear felt great, lol, it just didnt shift well.
