Default Ve

Am I doing something wrong in tuning my VE table. Ive been using some guides Ive found but my VE never seems to look like anyone elses. Could this be because of the type of supercharger I have I know it builds boost quicker then others.

your bigest problem (if you are F.I) is you don't have 2 bar....

Hahaha looking at the images I keep trying to click and spin it around.

Yeah yours is a bit different. No experience with whipples here. Kind of looks like you may be logging and tuning some tip in throttle and possibly decel. If you are confident you aren't doing that go with what works.

That explains the top of the table (100+ kpa), but it looks just looking at a sketch you are factoring in too much lean tip in. Notice you have fatter VE cells in all the cells that you'd go thru if you mashed the gas.

When VE tuning, smoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooth pedal transitions. Try your damnest. Then only consider cells with 20 or more hits. Then don't be scared to put shifter into certain gears. I like to factor out all hits that are below 3% TPS. Keep in mind richening up that upper ve area under 4K rpm you will go rich (to some degree) when you turn the maf back on in those same areas. (as I suspect you have the MAF off during this SD tuning)

What is "tip in"? I did mash the gas I didnt know about the smooth pedaling. Ill post current tune later. A problem now is when I reenable my MAF my LTFT are high. But when I keep it off theyre just fine.

When you mess with the Ve, you then have to recalibrate the MAF, Everyone will repeat the results you just had, they reenable the maf and its either lean, or high trims. Mine did it, so i just ditched it. I like SD
