I got the 42#er's on today and done some tuning at the track tonight. I think my problem now is in the VE table. Reason being, 2nd gear is a little lean (13.2-13.3), 3rd gear is a little rich (12.3-12.4). Didn't really pay attention to 1st. Seems it needs different fueling at different engine loads. On the way home from the track, I nail it at 55mph and it's really rich like 11.5-11.8. What's the easiest way to VE tune. Someone was telling me about some type of auto ve tuning but I'd have to buy a different WB..??

if u can connect the AFR sensor to ur MPVI on HPTs u can log it from that.. You'd have to create a custom histo to get things to run properly though... i came up tuning 02-04 trailblazers that run on purely VE and to be honest, it was fun! Try disabling your MAF and set your PE to one setting across the board and run in SD.. see what kind of AFR your reading. if they seem ok, it might be the MAF that needs to be dialed in..
keep the process posted!

I'm sure it would run good in SD but it won't correct itself for different air temps and all that good stuff. I'm using an AEM wideband and efi live. Someone was telling me about the innovate WB that plugs into the cigarette lighter and into the laptop and just drive around loging and the VE pretty much sets itself. I've never heard of it, but I wouldn't doubt it's possible. Maybe I need to work on my MAF. Any tips on how to tune that?

To set up your tune do this:
B3313 = 252*
B3605 - Add .05 to rows 176*-212*
B3801 = Disable
B4108 = Disable
B4205 = 252* (the whole table)
Copy B5913 to B5914
C6002 -> P0101-P0103 = No MIL
C2901 = 1
C2903 = 1
The PID list and MAP I have attached. Just add in your PIDs for your wideband and BEN to the PID list and MAP. Drive around in various driving conditions, you might have to two-foot it if you idle is not set correctly.
After your all said and done you need to filter out the results. Create the following filter

Read the AutoVE tutorial located in the help section on the scan tool, it will say how to paste your results into the tune, but use the settings i posted...

I only do cells <=3600 for DD and then do a couple of WOT runs on the same log. Do a couple of sessions until your BENS are .98-1.02, then reverse all the settings and then work on your MAF...
