Ok did some check.
Being an 03 no TPS sensor it's all in one unit.

Fuel psi does drop after a few min. After turbkng truck off.
Down to 20psi. Thought " I got it now" NOPE
turn the key on let psi come up. To 60.
Still has starting troubles.

Thought maybe tbody sticking. Nope blade moves nice and easy.
Can see it cycling while key is turned to the on position.

Any other ideas? I'm lost

Waiting to get me a laptop to plug in and see if there are any codes that are there. Just not the ones that throw a light.

It's the fuel pump. Be sure you replace the fuel filter at the same time.

Wouldn't that show up as no or low psi?
I have 60psi while cranking.

Rick, my parents 02 with the 4.8, did the same thing. I checked fuel pressure when i was home to AZ and it was fine, but no start. They had it towed, turned out it was the fuel pump. It was intermittent as well. I also had a buddy in high school that had a 95 camaro, and his car did the same thing, turned out to be the fuel pump. If it has the stock FPR, you can pull the vaccum line and see if fuel comes out. I had a 01 4.8 that was intermittent, and would crank forever, it was the stock fpr.

Rick the truck just spin and no start? Also try to open the throttle during start the truck to see if that help it start.

I swapped the regulator part out.
So far it fired right up and hold psi.

I am still trying to see why it wouldn't start before.
It had 58psi but during cranking start issues.
