uninstalling diablosport tune

Default uninstalling diablosport tune

hey guys i was wondering about 2 things, if i uninstall my diablosport 93 tune will i get better gas mileage or the same gas mileage and also when i install the stock tune back on what do i have to do after that, there is a relearn that has to be done right ??? thanks Justin

Not sure about the mileage...did your fuel economy increase when you installed the tune? If so, I'm assuming that it'll decrease when you uninstall it...or vise-versa.

As far as the relearn goes, you should be able to just follow the prompts to return to stock and go and drive it. I don't know about the Diablo, but when I had the Crane/VHP tuner there were a few fuses that had to be pulled prior to hooking the tuner up. There should be detailed instructions with the tuner, if not, you could probably go to their website and download them.

thanks, i dont know if it got better when i got it cuz it was a long time ago and at that time i didnt pay attention to the gas mileage at all. Justin

I have gone back to stock on the daiblo several times and there is no relearn. The truck just turns on and is ready to drive. If you got a custom tune on the diablo for injectors or something else, then you may have problems going back to stock.

i still think you can remove the tune and be back to stock. i have removed mine to email in for a updated tune and it felt as though the truck was running on stock settings.
