I'd say Nelson, I have seen fewer problems from his tunes post on here than anyone else. Plus his Customer service is top notch.

You dont indicate where you are, or what your mods are, but if you are close to a tuner you can have your truck dyno tuned.

I had a mail order tune and it was great but the dyno gained gobs of power better as well as making my truck more enjoyable to drive!

I'm in houston and my current mods include cold air, eldlebrock headers, dual exhaust, and currently a hand held tuner.

How mutch is a dyno tune from Nelson? I went HPtuners, it takes a little to learn, but I love it now. I also had W4M, but everyone here preaches Nelson, so he cant be bad.

I liked it, and for the price, I recomend it to anyone, but when you get a cam, dont expect any mail order tune to be with out issues. I just got tired of sending it back, so I figured Id learn to tune myself.

Well PCMForless isn't really known here so you won't find much input on them. I have a tune from them and I love it, and customer service is top notch as well. I'd so either go with PCMForless or Nelson, you won't find too many people not satisfied with either of them.

nelson performance is in san antonio. make the drive and get him to tune it in person thats the best way to do it and the best tuner IMO. i have nelsons tune and love it. allen nelson tunes the fastest 2 natural asperated cam only 5.3 silverados in the world as far as i know of...and one of them is a mail order tune this weekend im shooting for the first ecsb 5.3 to make it to the 13's on stock cam and heads. love his tune!

i read too many complaints about wait4me. stuff about TM and weak shifts. alot of forgetting to delete codes also. not saying these problems havent come from nelsons but its just alot more frequent from the cheaper tunes.

I'm not trying to start a pissing match but you said the "cheaper tunes". PCMForless is almost half of the price of Nelson and I can guarantee you that you won't find hardly anyone, if anyone not satisfied with their tunes. Check out SilveradoSS.com and look at the people praise Bryan Herter from their like everyone from here praises Allen Nelson.
