my truck was tuned with ls1 edit...what are the diff. if any in the different software between efi live, lsi edit, and hp tuners??? im lookin into getting a laptop and software cause there is noone here that can tune my truck anymore.

don't do ls1edit. Tons of short falls compared to the other 2. The other 2 for the entry level person is really just the user interface. They are like GPS units, both get you to the same point with different looks and features. Again, entry level speaking. Compare pricing for your intentions and go from there is my opinion. I have HPT and prefer it over the other mainly due to layout. But an EFI person would say the same thing about EFI. LOL Do your homework and don't expect to get much out this thread with people's opinions of a software. Both of them have plenty of support.

Each offers their own way of doing things, HP Tuners offers custom operating systems, many of which allow you to tune your vehicle in real time. HP & efi give you access to some parameters not available in edit but all 3 can get the job done.
