While the almost 400hp is great and I really don't need any increase there. Do any of the hyperTech or other brands affer a mode which will increase MPG? And for anyone who has done it... what were the results?

no!! handhelds suck!!! expecially the hypercrapper. get atleast a mail order tune from wheatley or nelson...you'll see 10x better gains from a real tune from one of the guys listed

 

you can tune for economy w/ hptuners or that other software tuner package

 

I'v had a handheld before I got my Nelson tune its like night and day in power. I also noticed with my custom that I do get better mpg with it, at least 2mpg.

 

What kind of tune did you get, to increase the mileage? was it a 91 octane tune?

 

I got a 91 octane tune from Nelson and it has increased my mileage, when I dont have my foot in it. ha ha. But i do plan on getting my truck dyno tuned when I cam it.
