Tried un hooking fans completely and didn't solve anything. Also installed another pcm with no luck either. I guess I do need to go back over everything under the truck.

Maybe give Allan a buzz. Maybe there is a small glitch in the PCM or retune he sent you? But I guess if you tried another PCM it has a older tune in it. If both PCMs have been flashed to the same tune then perhaps it is in the tune.

The thing is It started acting up before I even loaded in the new tune. I have a feeling there is a piched wire somewhere, plug wires going bad since they have almost 90,000 on them, or a bad ground. Just need to find out where the hell the problem is comming from.

Thanks for all your help Mort, This is getting very frustrating!!

We used to check for bad plugs or plug wires by pulling the wires off one at a time with the engine running to see if there was a decrease in rpm and/or a rougher idle. If there is no change then that is likely a bad plug, wire, coil pack or coil pack connection. You can also spray a mist of water on each plug wire, coil pack to see if that grounds it out. This is best done in the dark so you can see the spark travel to the block. I have a set of plug wire pliers with a ground wire so that I don't get the 50000 volts running through me.

I think I have a bad injector. Put a noid light on cyl. # 8 injector. Looks like an intermitten problem, when its running shitty the injector won't blink the light or somtimes will blink. when it running fine and smooth it blinks. I might try putting back in the stock injectors and see if it solves the problem.

Sometimes if you get a little rust or dirt in the system it finds its way to the back of the fuel rail and can plug up #8. Take it out and have a look. If it is you should be able to clean it up and flush the rail and be good to go. I have not had this problem yet (knock on wood) but have read a few posts.

well added some BG to my gas and seems to have cleared it out. I think from the truck sitting for a couple weeks while waiting for a new tranny it got sticky and was hanging open. It ran worse at low rpm then high which tells me it was probably putting out the fire and on the upper end it was using the fuel. I ran the hell out it for 15 mins and let idle for a while, shut it off, stated back up. seems to be fine now. Thanks for all your help mort.! this probably explains why it worked fine before and ran like **** afterward.
