Default trouble code help me out!!

well this is all after my trucks been sitting for a couple weeks waiting for the trans swap. After the trans swap truck would run fine, but a couple time it would idle rough and give me a barely idle. light would come on and would give some injector code, can't remeber which one exactly. Now I am getting U1016 Loss of class 2 communication with VCM, can't get that one to go away. Also installed some e-fans and Im getting u1301 battery short. Maybe I have a bad ground for the fans, but really can't figure out the U1016 code.

Please help this is really bugging me

Sounds like you may have pinched a wire. What trans did you swap in?

waste gate gasket seemed to be making the noise, It blew out lol. well plugs didn't help. next on my list is try and swap in the old pcm. If that doesn't help I may through on some new plugs wires?????? Im at a loss at this point. Is there any pcm ground wires that I may have forgot to reconnect around the tranny?????

Damn truck feels like its running on 4 cyl.. now.

Check what you did last. The trans swap look for a ground you may have missed and the connections on the trans are seated properly.

Sounds like it could be a wiring problem with the e-fans install so check it over very carefully.

Check your connections on your PCM. Maybe even take them off and re-seat them. Are all the pins seated properly.

Look around for a wire that might have been damaged or pulled out of place when you were doing the other work.

Sorry not sure what exactly could be the cause but review everything that you did recently.

Good luck.
