I just got my turbo installed on my new truck and now I need to tune my trans. I have a 2011 silverado 5.3 with a 6L80 trans. I will be using a diablo intune and want my trans at its best to tow with. I know engines inside and out but dont know a lot about auto trannies. Any help or tips would be great.

 

6L80's are very touchy to their tunes. Depending on your custom tuning experience I would highly recommend getting it pro tuned as these tranny's are very touchy to their tune. They are easily killed by tweaking the wrong things and this is especially critical with a turbo. Take it to whoever did the custom tune for your motor and get them to tune the trans.
