Default tranny/tuning question

is there any thing that can be done during a tune that can wear out a clutch pack in 11 months. i took my truck in to get scanned and he told me the the band for 2-4 broke. i have a wait4me tune is there something in the tune that could have caused this. i asked the tranny tech what brands they use, he named off the same ones that seem real popular on this board. fyi its a 4l60e in a 99 tahoe 2wd.

Stock tranny? If the shift pressures are set too high it will break the band. If you downshift to come to a stop you can break it......or it may just be a fluke, the 4L60E's are crap from the factory, they won't take much more than a stock truck.

post up your tune. and if you know how to set up a config for trans scanning, post up a good scan of your trans. We will be able to help you alot better if we can see what you are looking at.

I know you already posted you mods, but make sure you post the exact mods you have tranny included with your tune since you don't have it in your sig.
