Default Torque converter and speedometer

I want to get a higher stall torque conveter for my truck eventually. Let's say I get a relatively stock stall like a 2600. Is there any PCM tuning required after the new torque converter is installed? Also, I've changed my tires recently and the new tires are about 1" shorter in diameter compared to the old tires. I used my crappy Hypertech to compensate for the new tire height. I know the Hypertech calibrated the odometer but did it change the speedometer too? Any info would be appreciated.

it's all one measurement, you're fine.

On the converter, you'll be fine. the true tuning comes with a cam/converter combo.
