tranny sucks after putting in 4.10's

I also thought I was having tranny trouble after the 4.10 swap. And I had a hypercrap too. Then I sent my stuff down to Wheatley,told him what my problems were, and BAM!!! it was fixed. Two thumbs up to Wheatley!!!!!

I think it can. You just have to go to the trans setting there should be something for the gear ratio. IRC

I had a Hypertech once. You can use it to change the transmission shift points after a gear swap. It will do more than correct the speedometer.

Thanks for all the good info guys! The hypertech can change the full throttle mph shift points. My truck is stock, I dont drag race it. I normally drive it fairly slow. I just want it to downshift first gear if I am below the shift point rpm for the appropriate gear. It wants to drop one gear, not two if needed. For example, if I am going 50 and i floor it, it will go to 3rd, not second. This is annoying for the times when I do want to move out.
