Default TQ Mgmt removal results

I've had the TQ removed and loaded for about a week now.
The tranny shifts much more consistently now, instead of the sometimes Tq Mgmt I was expierencing before. Also, seems to be quite a bit more responsive as well, all good stuff, very happy with it.

also, as odd as it may sound, it is less harsh since I removed all TQ Mgmt, although, I'm not arguing with success

After installing the shift kit with 2 washers, the shift was too aggressive for me. I toned it down a bit by doing this.

I like the truck to throw my head back when it shifts. kinda like it does in tow/haul mode, but harder.

another note: Had the chance to run through 3rd gear into fourth this morning, wow, it actually pulls much better. One thing I'm not exactly sure about is how and when TQ Mgmt is activated, but I can say, with it off, I am much more happy with the way the truck drives/responds.

LOL @ Jerry

TQM is different and sporadic to say the least. I think what we all deam as torque management is also abuse modes. Abuse modes come into play mostly at low throttle, but TQM does as well. Glad to hear you liked it. The 80e is a stout tranny and I think it would handle it and a bit more.

thanks for all the help via PM, email, and thread posts. I REALLY appreciate the fact that you took the time to answer every little question I had, and you know I had alot.

Also thanks to Crash Dummy for a few pointers/explinations and everyone else that contributed.
