Default For those of you that do your own tuning...

I have been using a friends EFI Live to tune my truck. I am running SD with a 2 bar map. How accurate are you able to get the AFR? I have always been a carb guy, and have logged my AFR with a carb, and it was always very close. The closest I can get my fuel injected engine is anywhere between high 13's, and mid 15's. Am I asking for too much, or should the AFR be closer to 14.7?

Is that at wot? If so you are pretty lean with forced induction.

No, those are my cruising AFR's. I got my WOT anywhere between high 12's, and high 10's. I haven't messed with the WOT much yet.

Mine bounces from 14-15 at cruise, no changes other than zeroing out the fuel trims.

When your crusing your afr is supposed to switch between slightly rich to slightly lean, that's also why your 02S's are constantly switching voltages..

I have never heard of bouncing AFR..

When I tuned my turbo Camaro, I ran 2 bar CLSD. I tuned it all in OL and it would be dead nuts 14.6-14.7 all day and exactly what I commanded in PE. My VE was dead accurate, but it took me 2 weeks straight of logging and changing to make it that way. I could pop it to OL and never even worry about it.
