For those of you that do your own tuning...

I am still in the tuning stage of this(after several months). I will be running a semi OLSD when and if it is ever done. I have ran countless miles, and logged numerous logs to try and nail down the tune. It actually runs pretty decent when cruising, but the AFR's are all over the place. It still revs to 3k when I start it, but it only stalls when a let off the gas once in a while. My tuner is confused, and says that my VE numbers are low, and that is causing my ignition to be quite a bit high. I have no idea why this is happening, and apparently he doesn't either. I want to get this running soon and drive it. I spent most of last year driving around burning up gas so I could send a tune log to my tuner so he could say hmmm.

Just takes experience. I can tune a ve table in 3 short logs, then 3 short logs for MAF, then 3 logs for WOT spark, then 2-3 logs for switchpoint adjustments. All together about 3-4 hours and i am done starting from stock maf, ve, spark tables

I am logging data and emailing the tuner the logged data. He is then changing my tune, and emailing me back the tune to load. I have actually been getting it most of the way there before I send him logged data. He has been at it for months now, and I have been through numerous tanks of gas just to get it where it is.

I have gotten our ve to be around 14.5 to 15. Open loop no problem like stated above jus takes time and patience.
Its importand to have ur scanner setup right as well other wise things will read diff that acually is. Such as ground offset on ur wideband!!! You could be runnin 14.5 but reading 15.8. !
