Tail Light doesn't come on until braking..

check for continuity in each wire on the tail light harnes. If it's all good then its not the lights harness. you will have to move on to the rest of the wireing. I have the book but dont have a diagram that I can up load right now.

Okay but it has to be the wiring after the rear connector box correct? If every other bulb in the tail lights work correctly, it can't be something before the box right?

I will have to look at the diaghram. I am not sure if its 1 signal and split at the box.

Okay, I need to fix this ASAP. Anyone have a wiring diagram that could show me what two wires to jump together? It's not the correct way to fix it but I have to get my truck inspected for registration right away? Any help?

Every other rear light works except the passenger running light. That bulb lights up when you hit the brakes but the night time running light is out. So I don't think it could be the block but you never know. I just can't find any wiring diagram to see which wire is the running light and which is the brake wire..
