Default Swapping PCM

I ordered a tuned PCM for my '07 Silverado 1500(Classic) 4WD, 5.3. While it was in transit, I purchased a '06 Silverado 2WD, 5.3.

Will the one I ordered for the '07 Classic work in the '06? I realize I will have to have a crank relearn done since the PCM I ordered is not original to either one of the trucks. I have not yet tried to install it in either one.
Thanks!

Physically the PCM would work however you may have trouble with the VATS not allowing it to run.
