hey guys yesterday i swaped my ls6 cam for a 23x/24x 580/590 on a 112 now it wont idle and if i 2 foot it to keep it running it has no power. it has a stock 4.8 tune with a cammed 5.3. could this be my problem? any help would be great.

 

It wont idle because it needs to be tuned.

If you have a stock converter thats gunna be a big part of why it has no power. That cam is way too big for a 5.3 in a heavy truck.

you put a 23x/24x 580/590 on a 112 in an ecsb z71 5.3? it will always drive like **** cuz that cam is wayyyyyy to big. Did you think you can just swap cams and it will drive like stock?

Needs a tune. A good tuner that knows what hes doing, once tuned it will drive around just fine. Be sluggish from a dig with the stock converter.
