Default starting issue?

I went to start my winter truck yesterday (which is a 99 s-10 2.2L) and it just cranked....i went to crank it again and it started....it does this everytime...you could crank it the first time and no matter how long you crank it wont start until you recycle the ignition switch then it starts...i have about 114,000 mi and i bought it new....im thinking it could be a fuel pump...and it gonna take a dump...what do you guys think?

sounds like the fuel pump, or your fuel filter . . . when was the last time that you changed it?
