In HPT or EFI? From what I understand, the HPTuners custom 2 Bar OS completely codes out the MAF.

The $49 upgrade is when you change to a custom OS. For instance, if you'd like to gain RTT capabilities but maintain a MAF enabled OS just upgrade to the 1 Bar MAF Enhanced custom OS.

In VCM Editor click on the OS button and it'll show you what custom OS's are available. I believe that every '05 and '06 truck aren't able to do RTT. You can do a PCM swap though which would require some other mods and licensing the second PCM.

I would think that you could possibly with the vehicles that have the IAT sensor wired into the MAF harness. I'm not sure as to how it's done though.

NP, you'll find that at first everything seems a little scary, but once you learn the ropes to the software you'll be much more comfortable. The HPTuners forum is an insanely useful tool with many very reputable tuners on there to help out.

I would like to be able to use the MAF in vacuum and MAP in boost, is that possible? Let the MAF calculate the AFR during non boost times and let your MAP dictate the fuel when in boost? I love being able to dial in the fuel for each PSI rather than throwing fuel at it at 105kPa hoping its enough to cover it through 150kPa. I am sure there is a way to do it, but i just dont know how.

using a maf with 2 or 3 bar is realy no different than one bar. So many ways to do it.
