Default So whom has switched from efilive to hpt or vice versa???

Well i bought hpt pro the other day because i got tired of efilive not updating the older pcms with new settings. I have been watching hpt forums and posts for along time. They are constantly improving even the older 512k pcms. So i made the switch. Very similar.

I am just having a hard time because every single table is reversed. It is just gonna take some getting used to.

I just picked it up as well. I am still trying to figure out all the little differences that I was familiar with in EFI Live.

Some day I will learn how to actually tune the engine...

And I fixed your title of this thread too!

At first glance i like the 2-bar os. The boost enrichment table is pretty cool. I am not really digging the lower resolution of the ve table but honestly it will probably have zero impact. The extra transient and injector settings are NICE!

You can still adjust things like your transient fuel flow, and possibly the TCC lockup on decel and still use EFI Live. Im interested to see how you guys like HPT.

Well that would be a major pain. Because i would have to switch between hpt and efi custom OSes. Which both require full writes. I did that madness yesterday and it sucked.

Yeah it is a real pain, but the only way to still use a COS. Too bad they just cant have a guy making the needed changes with EFI Live.

I did all of that with efilive, with efilive it take about 2secs. Actually it is nice having both since both softwares have different capabilities.
