Smaller battery ???
I'm looking for a smaller battery that is track legal. I'm not to worried about holding a really long charge. Whenever the truck is at home it will be hooked up to the charger. Im not sure on amps and all that crap Im not to smart with that stuff. Stock battery is roughly 11 L x 8 h x 7-8 W. I need it to be thinner and shorter. Any clues. Im thinking something like this http://www.tirerack.com/accessories/detail.jsp?ID=28

Check these out and see if you find a size to your liking:
Extreme Series Battery Specifications
The PC950 or PC1100 might be big enough.

I run a AGM battery I got for a motorcycle from advanced auto, it's rated at 330 CCA but I know the agm's usually pump out twice that cranking for a few seconds. I have not had any issues for the past year (knock on wood) even when I was home in Michigan during the winter and it was -10. My truck is a work truck so, not power everything, but it's been fine for me.. I bought some adapters to convert it so it bolts up to side terminals still.
