I thought you said you’d never heard of anyone successfully doing this?

@1FastBrick What kind of moderator even are you?

Lol.

Hey, I've got a general question if anyone knows: are there any differences on the transmission tuning parameters on the P59 over the 0411 that would make it shift smoother?

I've got an 06 Suburban 2500 and a 99 Silverado with a swapped 4L80e. The suburban shifts seem smoother to me. The Silverado I "think" has the P01 ECU? Coincidentally, the transmission from the 99 tag is from 2006 I suppose both transmissions are the same year. Don't get me wrong, the Silverado shifts smooth, but the suburban is just smoother. Does DBW vs DBC have anything to do with it?

@1FastBrick You’re just a hater. I still think that if a P59 swap is possible into a P01 truck then that E38 swap is possible into a P01. Who wants to send me some parts to start ripping into my truck?

Talk to Jake. @smokeshow is the only one I know that actual wired the E38 in but he did it on an 04. I think you might have better luck getting factory things to work with E67 though.
