All the 4.3 vans I've seen are dbc and can be segment swapped to a v8.
. I have a v6 p59 pcm and an 05 Green/blue harness. Truck is a 2000, I think i have the C2 connector wires figured out for the most part, for the other plugs under the fuse box, did any of them have to be switched between the plugs or any from the C2 connector to the plugs?

On mine I had a few that had to be switched from one connector to another. I unpinned a few from a spare harness I had and solder/heatshrunk the pin on the wire.

Gotcha. The part that has me a little messed up is how they are labeled a little different on different years and I’m not confident I’m getting it correct. Any chance you could pop your fuse box up and take a picture of each connector/plug for me?

Use the circuit # instead of name label it will help you out.

Ok. Wasn’t sure if the circuit # were the same. That makes it a bit easier.

Default E85 pin

Great post guys. I’m just finishing 99 RCSB from v6 to 6.0/821 moded On3 hotside VS gen2 7875 A2W

i using 99 LS harness with P59 pcm with DBC , 3 bar and e85 . But here’s problem. E85 on in HP tuner but it’s not reading.. what pin are you using for signal wire on e85? I’m using pin 56 from writeup I found here on PT.net . It either I’m pinned it wrong or not setup right in HPT .. unfortunately I’m only beginning to learn HPT. I have Good local tuner tuning truck. Only at 9.5psi on 93 on street so far... here’s list of P59 that have. iAt for DBC.

I believe you will have to segment swap your engine settings from a Tahoe or something that came factory with flex fuel. Hptuners doesn't let you see 100% of the parameters. The segment swap changes a setting that activates the ethanol part of the ECM if I recall correctly. Other platforms like tunerpro allow you to modify that setting without a segment swap.

Thanks. It has 03 Tahoe OS that for DBC , 3 bar & e85 ... Shows where it’s turned on but reads 0%

bbowerman. I show this to my tuner. Segment swap it above my pay grade ... lol. I’m sure he understand.

That enables virtual flex fuel. To turn the content sensor on ther is another setting. You would have to get the segment from something that came with the content sensor, or find someone with tuner pro that can modify your hot file for you. That's what I'm going to do to mine if the content sensor doesnt work.
Does your ECM just have the flex fuel enabled drop-down or does it show the sensor fitted/not fitted drop-down also?
