i just changed the ignition tumbler on my 2006 silverado K3500 with duramax/allison setup, since i changed the tumbler ive had a security lock icon on the dash, i tried the ignition on for 15 minutes 3 times without starting the truck thing and that didnt work

is there something i should have taken out of the old tumbler and put into the new one? the reason i changed them was because my door key and ignition key were two different keys, and i put in the ignition tumbler that matched the door key (they were from an 02 silverado K2500HD with gas engine)
