seat questions

Default seat questions

just got an 08 silverado and the seats in it a in horrible shape. so i am planning on getting all new seats but was wondering if i got power seats would they just plug in to the factory plug thats under my stock seats or would i have to add some sort of wire harness?

guess i should add factory seats are just basic seats with the lever slide (which doesnt work)

I'm 99% positive that the harness is there, and should be plug & play. Hopefully somebody else who has actually done it will chime in soon for you.

Have done it in the nbs trucks but i think the same applies to the nnbs. Heating the seats and all that stuff is a little complicated but to get the seat moving/sliding front to back, you just need to add a positive 12v and a ground. If you look on the seat side of the harness, the 2 biggest wires, a black(ground) and an orange(12v) should get the trick done.
