We are both the 5.3 kings( I wish I could put this motor in a 2wd truck.....can we say 11.99).......I ran the same time as Lance(running lean, no gears, no cal-tracs and full exhaust) but I did it in a Z71 4x4. I put more rwhp(even more than the 2wd guys) and I ran the quickest e.t. in a N/A., 5.3 4x4.

Now to get to the other posts.

He did it cam only though, thats what I was talking about. AP said there was a trend with high timing and the quickest trucks, I was just proving a point, Lance is as fast as any 5.3 with a lot less timing. That was my point, I am not trying to argue who's fastest.

Yeah, tell lance to get some heads. Then I'll get gears, cal-tracs, taller tires....what else

Also to, when you asked Lance if he's the 5.3 king, you didn't say "the king with stock heads, intake, seats, dash"........you just said the 5.3 king. Now you're backpeddling.....

Dude, come on, I was just replying to AP's post. I was asking what timing he ran, he said 28*. You and Lance can discuss all the other stuff (sorry Lance).

 

Backpeddling, no. Sorry, Closet, but if Lance had more cam, heads, electic pump, bigger TB, aluminum driveshaft like you, he would be in the 11's not mid 12's. Yeah you are in a Z71, thats cool, but don't get all angry at me AP stirred this **** back up.

 

Calm down killer he isnt backpeddling, he is just saying he ran the same time as you with stock heads but he forgets you are carrying all the 4wd **** with you and running 3.73 gears

And you arent getting my pump, I got some interesting news this weekend, Im going to be driving my truck for a while, so Im keeping some stuff.
