Replacing stock pcm

Default Replacing stock pcm

if i replace the stock pcm do i have to do the crank postion relearn deal. or should everything be ok.

I'm assuming you're getting a mail-order tune. As thats the only logical reason to replace the PCM heh.

Chances are, you will have to do a crank re-learn. But you'll only know for sure if that DTC shows up.

no i had a mail order and pulled it out. put stock back in and was wondering if i needed to do the crank postion relearn.

Ahh, ok that make sense.

You should be ok, since you are replacing the tuned PCM with your stock PCM. It should still remember your crank position data.
