Default Reflashing from 4.8L to 6.0L

Quick question. I am doing the LQ4 swap and i was wondering instead of sending in my computer to have it flashed by Wait4Me again, if i could just tune it myself. I have EFILive, but im not sure if i need a base 6.0L tune first before i can start tuning it? Or would it just be best to send it in and get a base tune done for free by Wait4Me? Then play with the tune when i get it back. Let me know what you guys did. I wanna get my motor in as soon as possible, and Jesse from Wait4Me is out of town for 2 weeks, and im ready to do this. I dont want to wait around anymore.

I would start with the LQ4 stock tune and progress from there. I am a HPtuner user but I have heard EFI live is similar. In my opinion you are probably better off learning to do it yourself. There are tons of help topics around here and I think EFI live even has a autotune deal but I don't know anything about that.
