Default Rear 02s

Ok i got a quick question for you guys..
Im fixin to order a Eaton LSD and 4.10s..
but while im recovering from that and saving up for the LT headers and ORY pipe, could i gut my cats and turn my rear O2's off with EFI Live and pick up any power with the stock manifolds??? I have replaced my stock muffler with a 6"Rd magna flow.

If so where do i go in EFI Live to turn them off at?
and is there anything else i need to change?
Thanks Guys!!!

you can turn off the rear o2's but its not going to get any power what so ever... only thing the rear ones do is check to make sure the cat is working right

im sorry i think that i missread your post... you will gain some power by gutting the cats..... makes it flow better but in all honesty your stockers flow good not sure if you will notice the power that you will gain

nope, gutting the cats with stock manifolds will not make a noticeable difference.

Thanks Thunder, DLH2006, and LesPaul..... i got that saved now...

So basically all that does is.... it wont read the rear 02s and then disable the MILs so the SES light wont come on??

The O2's will still report to the PCM but it won't do anything based on what it reads from them, meaning that it won't set a DTC or SES light if the readings aren't what it is expecting.
