? i dont get over here alot hope this isnt a stupid ? truck oo gmc radix 4l80e5.3 i work for a shop and have a snap on scanner, any one ever had toble getting the obd2 plug to not allow the tool to COMMUNICATE ive tried 2 differnt scanners with no avail, ive got some codes i need to get out,Help from any of you that have tuned these. it mainly started when i swaped the trans. its not chipped tuned any more i had magna burn the computer,i have been able to scan it once since so i know its not the new program,iver tried the obvious stuf ie: fusses resetting the computer,different scaners anyone know what it may be thanks in advance NEWBIE NATE

 

If you don't have an 80e file in there ... that's proly the problem. The 80e transmission needs a new wiring harness and an updated tune in the PCM, otherwise, it's not gonna run right.

 

yeah i did the harness,and magna put the 80e program in it it acctually runs good other than detanation,which im sure has to do with the trouble codes,any one ever ditched the stock fuel regulator,for and aftermarket and just plugged the rail,im so tiered of my noisy *** inline fuel pump whine thanks for the help... im tyinr to get this problem figured out,im getting ready to lift it like 16" on 40"s and 4;88 im sure thats going to screw me up even worse YA! sorry thanks Again , damn theres some fast *** trucks on here.......
