Default Service Engine soon Light

On my 99. I got my first SES code. I checked my codes and it pulled a p0171 and a p0174 which is system too lean. where could i start at fixing this. could it mean that i need to change my fuel filter or what. has any one else had this problem??

i would start by looking for any exhaust leaks. if any fresh air gets to those 02 sensors it can throw everything off. if theres no exhaust leaks check for leaks in the intake and intake manifould. unmetered air from the maf can make problems. if there are none there just try cleaning the MAF. use electrical contact cleaner to do that. hope everything goes well.

i have another questions. it only does it when it is colder that 25 out side. once it warms up outside a bit the light goes off. could it be because of the temp outside??
