Default Question on Tunes

Wat is Tq Management? I have heard it thrown around alot. But I am still unclear on wat it is. I am wanting to get a tune quite soon and I run my truck pretty hard sometimes. My only concern is throwing a code from the tune and messin my tranny up. Wats the safest amount I can remove without it "Seriously" effecting my trranny. But yea, if someone can fill me in to wat TQM acutally is and all that jazz that would be great. Thx again!

I'll take a stab at this one.
TQ Management retards spark and on( Electronic throttle controled)vehicle's
backs off the throttle to save drivetrain.
As far as deleting TQ Management if your trans is stock only remove 1/2 of TQ Management. If you put a shift kit and better servo's you can remove all TQ Management as long as your not making alot of HP.

torque mqnqgment is the pcm's ability to retard timing to lessen the load and strain on drivetrqin components to add longeveity to the vehicle. i think most are goping to an 80% tqm reduction on tunes and having really good luck.

not a whole lot but if you were to drive the 50% versus the 80% you will tell a difference. if you arent planning on beinbg the fastest and need it to last i say go with the 50%. if the tuner of your choice offers free updates that will be cool also. then you can change it later.
