Question for BlownChevy

I saw where you said 1-3* of KR was normal in another thread and did not want to hijack. Is this enough to worry about? My scangauge shows 1-3* at very light throttle or when I let it lug a little. But at WOT I have never seen any KR. I was just waiting until I could back to my tuner about it and not beat on it until then, but if this is normal I may not worry and at what amount should I start to worry?
Appreciate any information.

I frequently saw tip in kr with mine and had no issues. When it occurs is under light load and it goes away at wot so you shouldn't have any issues. Stock has this. The problem is if you tune it out it will require either richening it up at that rpm or pulling some timing. Either one will hurt your mpg.
When's that tranny going in?

I was wondering the same thing, but won't settle for any KR over 1*. I can pull my T/A from 2000rpms to 6000+ without a single spike, I don't see why the truck can't do this.
With the SS, I'm getting inconsistent random spikes from 1.5* up to 7*
that I am almost positive I can attribute to a weak injector on the passenger bank. 15* of timing with bank 1 reading 933mv and bank 2 reading 920mv with a 4.1*KR spike just doesn't make sense otherwise...

Just south of Chattanooga TN. If we get a chance though I would love to see that STS. I seriously considered that but the price was impossible to beat on Mjhoward's Radix, so I went that way.
Any pics or vids of your truck?

Extremely impressive!! If you all are going to have another get together any time soon let me know, I would love to see that truck in person.
By the way, who did your tranny?
I am thinking of going with FLT but if you can launch an 80 like that I may have to look into it.
