I am comfortable with my tune now. When my truck is out of warranty and i have more mods i will sell my handheld and get a custom dyno tune. Right now i like the piece of mind of knowing i can go back to stock or change tire sizes without chasing down the tuner or making an appointment. Just my $.02
Custom tuners do awesome jobs from what i hear, I will get one eventually but only from a very reputable one.

While i agree that I personally like to use the software that creates the handheld tunes, (because i do to make my own stuff). But thats not for everybody, not everybody has the know how to tune their own trucks, or like brutal said have the time to track down their tuner every time they want to make a small change

each style of tune has its own market. This is why i always ask people what they are looking to get out of their trucks before i make any recommendations of what they should buy. Ill be the first to admit that our tuners are not for everybody. but the fact that we have sold close to 40,000 units in the last year is proof that people are wanting the simplicity of a handheld

Im just saying for 300 plus dollars that a handheld will run you, you can have a custom tune done with a reputable tuner. It doesnt get any easier than telling the tuner what you are looking for and paying the charge to do it. Like I was saying too, most update for little or no charge too.

I have one. Tunes are same as predator however it also has canned tunes for exhaust and CAI and you can data log longer, mount it so you can have custom guages in front of you. And it will get the TCM support as the predator is being replaced by the Intune down the road which will have TCM support. The predator will not.

If you waste $600 on a trinity, you might as well delete your account here. Just telling you how it is.

really? 600 on a handheld programmer and sell it? your not gonna get crap for the programmer when you try to sell it. why not get a 300 dollar custom tune and just get free retunes? kind of a no brainer...

get a tune from wheatly for half of that and put the other half towards something else. why do you think every single person on here says "screw handhelds, get a custom tune"....?
