so im fucked out 170 bucks? they were like 79 a piece lol...i could try saying they made it run like **** blablabla and see what orielys says..normally they wont take anything electrical back if its been hooked up..

i mean, since the once i have now are new, and im going to be doing the scan retune with justin, can i just let him know what i have for o2s and he can tune for them? he should be able to see how they are reading and adjust from there correct?

here is what i have..when i checked all the stores around town, they all gave me the same part number for what was most popular/worked the best

The tune needs re-tweaking when you add headers, especially with an off road Y. Not the same fueling requirements of stock manifolds and cats, for sure.

Think about it, the exhaust flow isn't even comparable to how it was stock, and the O2's are moved a foot or so further back in the exhaust, so naturally even if they happened to read the same as stock, they'd be giving false, or incorrect, feedback. How can the present tune compensate, if it's "tuned" for a different setup? If you change the way an engine breathes, you need to have the tune tweaked for best efficiency and results. Will cars/trucks run fine usually after a header swap? Sure. Will they run their best as-is? Absolutely not.

I assume you're referring to doing some sort of a datalogging scan? If so, your tuner will know what needs to be done/changed.

FWIW, I run those exact same Bosch O2's in my truck (Since November 2009). I got a slow response code very intermittently (due to the sensor placement in the headers), just like with the stock O2's, which was easily "tuned" out.

Just curious, what is cost on the o2's? Shoot me a pm if you don't want to post up here, or if that's none of my business, no worries, haha

When i installed my LT's i found the engine went lean, I Assumed because of the scaveging on the cylinders, And after I retuned it the HP came in good, When the 02's see a lean condition it will cause the fuel system to richen and fuel mileage to go down, get it retuned and you'll be good..
