pro vs cons of tuning out the evap

anyone got a write-up on this? im not sure i would even know where to start to get all this stuff taken off.

i really cant think of a pro to tuning it out. if you dont need to, dont do it. i got rid of mine because of the fast intake swap and the fuel cell out back. it was easier to remove it than to modify it to work. it doesnt hurt performance, and doesnt weigh much at all.

I agree up top... There really is no benefit of tuning it out, and it cant weigh more then 10lbs... and on a dd you wont notice any perf. out of the delete. but im sure you will get gas fumes on a hot day lol...

it wouldn't be for a performance mod. it would be a remove it rather then replace it mod.

Any "Smog" related component that you turn off/delete in the tune will not allow the readiness to pass regardless of who tunes it.

my readiness passes without egr, evap, and rear o2 sensors.
