Default PCM Controlling E-fan on 02 Chevy truck

I have my E-fans set-up to be controlled 100% by the PCM. The fans are working fine with the tempter set points. I can't get the fans to come on high when the the A/C high side pressure get above 200psi set point. I was told that the 02-03 pcm can not control those set-point even know these set-point are in that 02-03yr tune file. I was also told if I get a 04 PCM that it was wired internally able to work those set-points. Can anybody verify this info for me?
Thanks

But!!!

You can set it up so the fans come on with the AC if the coolant temp is above a set Temp..

Ill find the table tonight when i get home.

You can use the ac clutch signal to turn the fans on....and if you swap to an 04 you have to convert to a DBW throttle body and pedal.

when my ECT is above 70* and my AC is on, my fan 1 is turned on.
it keeps the ac cool and the coolant doesnt rise but about 5*.

Yes I know I can run the fans off the clatch signal and I've burned up two relays over the past three yrs because of the cycleing of the a/c in 90* weather. Maybe 04 pcm is out of the question. I know the 03 truck have the pressures sensor in the high side of A/c. Can I just upgrade the os to an 03. Can i just flash a 03 over my 02 os ? Thanks guys.

Now it gets tricky...i think some of the vans had a cable TB up to 05, but im not sure of their numbers. If you can find one of those, you may could make it work.
