holy crap...above is the best site for DTCs. I love it.

That said, I got a p332 (p337 didn't get set). WTF?? Just the rear knock sensor? Is that more likely bad gas or a bad knock sensor? I know that there are a thousand more possible reasons, but I am trying to decide if its the controls that I should pursue or start investigating the possible reasons for knock?

Do you have an actual audible spark knock concern???? if so there is a bulletin about it... replace the rear knock sensor and build a damn with rtv about 80% of the way around it....

no, I don't think its actual knock. If it was, wouldn't both sensors pick it up? I think that I have a wet/rubbing/wiring issue, thats causing voltage drop. its been kinda crappy here lately, weather wise, bunch of ice, freezing rain, rain, and other bs, so its possible.

just checked, I have 9.7K ohms across the KS. I believe thats what I am supposed to have, right? I cleared the code, next would be wait and if it comes back, some octane booster?

do what Grumpy4.8 said about replacing the knock sensor, you'll more than likely find that the sensor is corroded from water intrusion and maybe even the harness itself is corroded.

ok, def. will do that. Just so I know that I am thinking along the right lines, if it was real knock, then both sensors would be throwing a code. Is that right?

they wont throw a code for knock they will just retard timing. I bet if you pull the intake off, you will find corrosion on the back sensor
