I just baught another laptop with a serial port.

Looks like this is scheduled for delivery for this Tuesday.
I'll post my thoughts on this product when it arrives as this might be an important topic as laptops move farther and farther away from the serial port.
The DSPR-100 is the ruggedized daul serial port PC Card, so I can have my HPTuners and G-tech hooked up at the same time

 

I ordered the same one I will post a report too. I have been using the Tosiba with the serial port for a long time. Its was so flawless, no its in for repairs and I ahve been using the Dell 9300 with a USB to serial. I ahve to uninstall and reinstall the driver every time I use it...what a pain. I hope the driver for this works really well. As the USB to serial adapter was only $20 and this is the $130 option.

 

I hear HP Tuner is coming with a USB version cable very soon.
