so really that percentage is just a joke! that sounds like big waste if you ask me

GM touts it as a money saving/time saving feature. It extends the service interval and I would be hard pressed to believe that it is detrimental to anything. You dont have to go by it at all, but many people dont keep track. I think it would be nice if you could program it to go off every 3000 miles or so. No more stickers on the windshield or door would be great.

I was going by the sensor untill the last time I changed the oil. It came out smelling like ***. Nothing but thin black gas smelling ****. Im going back to my 5k intervals.
