SSlow 4.8 in your search for tuners did you find any dyno tuners in the Atlanta area?
I am about an hour north of you and there is no one around here that I can find. I have a Wait4ME tune right now but plan on a few more mods in the next few weeks and would like to have a dyno tune. Appreciate any help.

Thanks Kyle

I've tuned a truck before with a 'budget' tune in it. I don't have anything positive to say about it. I will say though, after less than a mile, I had to pull timing, a significant amount at that, because of audible knock. The truck was seeing knock at 35 mph down a neighboorhood street. I pulled something like 7 degrees across the whole timing table and still got more knock that should be acceptable by anyones standards.

On the flip side ... I've tuned a well respected tuners mail order tune and was impressed. THere was still room for improvement, but the tune was actually very thorough and pretty much dead on.

Neither of the tuners I'm talking about are sponsors here though.

I was contacting MTI (motortech inc)... but I havent got a reply from them yet. They are located in Marietta... google MTI or motortech and see if you can get a local phone number on them
