new tranny truck wont start

Check for a loose/ missing ground wire... particularly towards the top of the trans bolts.

yeah check all the grounds up top, back of intake. I had this happen to me before the same exact thing. But my truck wouldn turn over at all. Ended up being the big green 40amp fuse under the hood for crank. I blowed it by being in a hurry and not unhooking battery. Took me two days to find it tho. I looked over it twice, when i checked all the fuses .

where was the fuse?

finally got it. the yellow wire on the crank sensor was pulled out but not completely out of the connector so i couldnt tell by looking at it. had to take the plug apart and solder it back in and whamo! its running
thanks for all the advice. now to see how this tranny feels

its a blown built motor yukon and seems to hate transmissions. not sure what broke yet. i nailed it from a stop, it blew the tires off and seemed to miss 2nd. then all i have is neutral. no leaks or anything.
tranny has billet shafts, upgraded servo and sunshell. alto red clutches, upgraded bands, and a shift kit. unknown stall speed
