Yea, I don't think coils with 80,000 miles like cranking up the dwell for another 40,000. I remember parish needing to turn up his dwell to help with spark blow-out....

kind of an old thread but i just noticed it.

once i got up around 20psi i had spark blow out. i tried swaping coils, plugs, colder plugs, diferent gaps, more/less fuel, diferent timing diferent fuels.... nothing helped. then kurt urban told me to turn up my dwell a couple of ms in the upper rpms like 4000rpm and above. the problem went away for good after that.

I had thought about spark blow out with the old engine because I seen some of your post on LS1 about dwell. I had it turned up before all of this started....
